Xinlei Cao, born in December 1995 in Zhumadian, Henan Province, is a PhD candidate (Class of 2022) at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hunan University, under the supervision of Prof. Ke Shen. Bachelor's degree from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University and master's degree from Hunan University. Research focuses on the formation mechanisms and structural regulation of carbonaceous mesophase, mesophase-derived carbon materials, and the preparation, structural characterization, and performance evaluation of nuclear graphite.
